In relation to the Current Report No. 1/2010 on the timetable of the capital increase of up to Euro 4 billion (inclusive of share premium) by means of the issuance of ordinary shares with a nominal value of Euro 0.50 each to be preemptively offered to the ordinary shareholders and holders of saving shares and resolved by the Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting held on 16 November 2009, UniCredit S.p.A. provides as an attachment to this Report a facsimile of form of the application to participate in the rights offering of ordinary shares of UniCredit S.p.A.
Prospective subscribers are informed that applicable subscription forms will be available during the subscription period from authorized financial intermediaries who are account holders with NDS. Each intermediary may provide prospective subscribers with an applicable form which may differ from the facsimile attached.
