The Management Board of Photon Energy announces that three photovoltaic projects in the same location in Mostkovice with a total installed capacity of 582 KWp were connected to the electricity grid of E.ON Distribuce a.s. on 22 December 2010. The three plants are:
• a 140 KWp extension of the 795 KWp Mostkovice plant owned by Photon SPV 3 s.r.o. expanding the total plant size to 935 KWp
• a 210 KWp greenfield plant owned by Photon SPV 1 s.r.o. This plant was originally slated for resale to an investor and hence was not reported as part of Photon Energy's proprietary portfolio. Management has decided to keep the plant so that it will become part of the company's proprietary portfolio.
• a 232 KWp greenfield plant owned by Max Energy s.r.o., which was slated for resale to an investor. Photon Energy has taken ownership of the company as security and expects to sell Max Energy s.r.o. to an investor in early 2011.
All three projects were built by Photon Engineering s.r.o. and have previously received their energy production licenses by the Energy Regulator and therefore have secured the feed-in-tariff for 2010.
With the exception of the 136 KWp rooftop project in Břeclav, for which the grid connection inspection by E.ON Distribuce a.s. is scheduled for 29 December 2010, Photon Energy managed to build and connect all photovoltaic plants for its proprietary portfolio in the Czech Republic securing the feed-in-tariff for 2010. As a result Photon Energy's proprietary portfolio in the Czech Republic has a total installed capacity of 14.85 MWp.
