The Board of Directors of WESTA ISIC S.A. performs production and sales data in figures for the first half 2011 and July 2011.

Key operating production and sales results for 1H 2011

- Battery production increased 22% y/y to 2.1 million conventional units

- Battery sales increased 6% y/y to 1.8 million conventional units

WESTA increased its stock of finished goods as of end-June 2011 in order to prepare for the seasonal increase in battery deliveries in the second half 2011.

The achieved result matches management expectations for the year 2011.

Key operating production and sales results for July and 7 months, 2011

- battery sales increased 67% y/y in July, bringing 7-month sales up 15% y/y

- production increased 155% y/y in July, thus raising 7-month output 36% y/y

WESTA started a seasonal increase in sales in July and continues to build up stocks to fully meet the scheduled increase in deliveries in forthcoming months.
