bmp Holding AG (ISIN DE0003304200) is announcing its earnings figures today.

For the 2015 financial year, bmp Holding AG generated consolidated earnings from ordinary business activities of minus € 2.00 million (previous year: minus € 0.5 million). As a result of the negative contribution to earnings of minus € 1.4 million from the venture capital operations that were discontinued in 2015, the net result was minus € 3.4 million. A total of minus € 2.9 million of these earnings are attributable to the shareholders of bmp Holding.

bmp closed the 2015 financial year with consolidated revenue of € 4.8 million (previous year: € 0 million). The subsidiary sleepz GmbH, which has been consolidated since May 2015, contributed revenue of € 4.1 million. The Matratzen Union Group companies that have been consolidated since December 2015 contributed revenue of € 0.7 million. Grafenfels Manufaktur GmbH did not start selling its mattress collection under the “Grafenfels” brand until 2016 and thus did not contribute to revenue.

Overall, bmp thus closed the 2015 financial year with revenue in line with its expectations. Earnings from ordinary business activities of minus € 2.00 million were beyond the published expectations of minus € 1-1.5 million.

For 2016, the Executive Board is planning for consolidated revenue of more than € 20 million and earnings from ordinary business activities of minus € 1-2 million without possible further acquisitions. For the 1st quarter bmp already expects a consolidated revenue of more than € 4 million.
