Banco Santander S.A. (“the Bank”) hereby informs that on 7th March 2016 director of the Bank notified the Bank, that on 1st March 2016 he acquired 264,915 shares of the Bank – 31,707 shares have been granted under the second cycle of the deferred and conditional variable remuneration plan; 28,850 shares have been granted under the third cycle of the deferred and conditional variable remuneration plan; 45,643 shares have been granted under the fourth cycle of the deferred and conditional variable remuneration plan; 158,715 shares have been granted under the fifth cycle of the deferred and conditional variable remuneration plan;
