PRESS RELEASE

UniCredit announces the sale of a non-performing credit portfolio UniCredit today has reached an agreement with Kruk Group (“Kruk”) in relation to the disposal on non-recourse basis (pro-soluto) of a non performing credit portfolio, mainly private individuals claims and residually corporate claims towards small/medium entities,

originated by different banks time by time incorporated into UniCredit Group.

The portfolio consists entirely of Italian loans with a gross book value of about 940 million Euro.

The sale is part of UniCredit’s on-going activities to sell non-core assets and strengthen its credit profile.

The impact will be reflected in Q4 2016 financial reports.
